Antique early 20th century Diamond Dyes Tin Litho Display Countertop/Wall Advertising Cabinet. You could find these in General Mercantile stores around early 1920s. These cabinets were used in stores to display and dispense fabric dyes for home use. Surprisingly most of the graphics are legible after years of rough storage with lots of humidity and temperature changes. There is flaking paint on all surfaces but mostly on the inside. If you purchase, you might find a little pile of paint flakes inside. This could be either restored to its former glory days or used as is with its exclusive one of a kind patina that has developed over the last 100 years. extraordinary rustic industrial look if used for decor.Bracket on one side would have held informational papers about using the dyes.Measurements approx 18 1/2 inches x 6 1/4 inches x 15 5/8 inches.
